It isn't, just there's so much people there that it's in a constant traffic jam
At night though there's much less traffic and the city still feels very much alive lol
the first day I got to NYC me and my dad were going around the streets at 2am trying to find some food to buy for dinner, and I thought it was 10pm from how active the city still was

not to mention you have to have a place to park it and lock it, which isn't always easy in nyc.
