--- Quote from: Planr on January 22, 2017, 09:02:05 PM ---this bill was introduced 17 days prior to when he became president. he mightve had some inspiration in this being made perhaps yes but other than that he had nothing to do with it --- End quote --- republicans have still been working his agenda to some extent while they were waiting for him to take office |

Won't happen; would be bad if it did |

Terrible idea |

Even if you're a hyper-nationalist like Annoying Orange, it makes absolutely zero sense for the United States to withdraw from the UN. We are a permanent member of the Security Council, which means we are literally immune from UN sanctions and can veto whatever resolutions we want. Our presence in the UN only gives us more international power than we already have. Edit: This is my 20,000th post. Accidentally passed it without knowing. I'm happy it was this post. Go UN! |

--- Quote from: Planr on January 22, 2017, 09:02:05 PM ---secondly no one is "withdrawing from the UN". this bill was simply introduced in the senate. literally no action has been taken on it at all. --- End quote --- Well no stuff. Anything Annoying Orange tries to do is going to go through congress. Thats how it works. |
