now I'm not quite sure what you're saying here but it sounds like you're saying you don't like people calling you a child enthusiast for being a child enthusiast (i.e. jacking it to loli stuff) and basically all there is to say about that is maybe you should've considered that before telling people you're a child enthusiast?

Is the person being depicted a child? If so, it is child enthusiasm. It's research meant for people who are attracted to children. child enthusiasts.
Is fictional child research less harmful? Sure. However, it is still child enthusiasm because at its root, it is research that depicts a child.

The only meaningful exceptions I can think of it is if the character is intentionally aged forward or if the age is particularly ambiguous.
