While in Japan I've legitimately had a train delayed because of a Self Delete. Saying it's an inconvenience is an understatement as the infrastructure relies so heavily on the metro system. Throwing yourself in front of a train is one the most inconsiderate ways to commit Self Delete. On top of causing a delay, it's also extremely traumatizing for the engineers.
