[news] THE WALL IS GOING UP

Conan:
probably should take it to the switch topic since this is the wall topic.

--- End quote ---

Incredibly, Me and Satan were having fun making jokes about you. Does that mean we are wrong, or that possibly you are?

--- Quote from: McJob on January 26, 2017, 04:21:33 AM ---Every single point I've made that was directed against something you said has been based on easy to find facts. I told you exactly why networking exists. I told you why the cost of the console seems high. I told you why the device is relatively underpowered compared to actual, static consoles. You're not listening to anything I say, though.

--- End quote ---

At what point was I not listening? I'm the one who asked those questions most of the time.

--- Quote from: McJob on January 26, 2017, 04:21:33 AM ---Why would I say that? When have I ever said I only want the Switch for third party titles? I couldn't give two tosses if it's completely only first-party games. It's nice we're getting Skyim, but if other third parties don't want to do it, they don't want to do it. Doesn't stop the console itself from being an interesting piece of hardware.

--- End quote ---

I'm saying it could have an issue selling units. The advantage of the switch is that it's a console on the go. So even if a game looks better on a PS4 you would probably still be better off buying it on the switch because it's actually portable.

--- Quote from: McJob on January 26, 2017, 04:21:33 AM ---At this point you've just lost me. I deal in the business of facts when it comes to games and game development. I haven't seen anything wrong with the console. Maybe it's because I have a well paying job so I can easily afford everything. Maybe it's because I'm a game developer with interest of publishing to the system. Maybe it's because I've actually touched it, played on it and talked about it with people who know more than me.

--- End quote ---

That was more about Insert then anything.

--- Quote from: McJob on January 26, 2017, 04:21:33 AM ---Was never intended to be aimed at you as a serious argument. That was something for the people interested to let them know that there's more to come. Sorry if you saw it differently than that.

--- End quote ---

Maybe because you immediately followed it up by stuffting on me and acting condescending about it.

Also of course we're wrong, because anyone who disagrees with the left is clearly a right wing neo-national socialist deathsquadder

Conan already made a great point about the fact that Satan is frankly just a terrible person who is only capable of making himself feel good through trolling and putting others down. If you want to stoop to his level of humour, be my guest.

It's the persistence of your arguments in the face of what, I feel, are solid counter-points. I really do get the feeling that 90% of the arguing in that thread is you (and several others, but not to the same degree) taking us on massive circles over the exact same things we've bickered over since I made the thread in the first place. Maybe I am really wrong here, but I just don't see you let anything go.

Nintendo intentionally chose the dry period to launch their product to make sure their initial sales figures are smaller than they'll be. They'll have no troubles getting this going at all.

Well, I'm sorry for that. It's just pure frustration. The fact that your name is the one I associate with all the criticisms and frustration in that thread (even though there are others who also stuff on the Switch) should be a nice big warning light.
