I can't sleep, anyone else have to deal with insomnia?

DrenDran:

It's 6:30am here.

I usually go to bed around 4am and wake up around noon, though two days a week I have a morning class so I have to split my sleep to go to it.
Yesterday I sort of did the same, and I ended up sleeping from 4:30am to 8:00am and 11:00am to 3:30pm. That kind of screwed up my sleep schedule.

So yeah, I should have fallen asleep two and a half hours ago but I'm not tired at all.
I'm really worried I won't be able to fall asleep tonight.
And if I can't fall asleep today, maybe I won't fall asleep tomorrow too. It's hard to stop thinking like that.

Pastrey Crust:

I remember whenever I had a final nearby (like a week from the date), I would sleep a hour or two and then go watch TV because I couldn't fall back asleep. I did have the energy to go through the day but still. Bad times. I now manage to sleep 14 hours and sometimes even more.

5:30 here.

I know how you feel. It's stuffty. Your problem probably is that you don't tire yourself out during the day

I go on an hour walk and do one or two sets of 30 push ups and 30 curls ups. Not to mention I work on weekdays.

I also often use flux to limit blue light exposure before bed. Though I've kind of undone that by hopping back on the PC.

Refticus:

go to bed at a reasonable time instead of 4am.
