If you're not sweating it's not enough

You probably shouldn't be on the computer at all 1-2 hours before bed

Easier said than done especially considering today.

I listened to a podcast with some sleep specialists on it the other day and they had some recommendations for getting to sleep.

One is to lie in bed and try and stay awake. That is try to keep your eyes open (you can blink). It's a tiring exercise and can help.

Another is to get out of bed and do something else for 15 minutes, in low light. Then get back in and try to sleep.

Also avoid the bathroom light before bed as bright white light puts your body in alert mode.
For an hour before bed start to wind down and avoid TV/laptops/phones. Try reading instead, or something else not taxing or bright.

Better yet, turn off every single light. Sleep in a pitch black room.
