Almost all of the '50% of muslims want sharia law!' propaganda have been debunked due to small sample sizes, the pictures of muslims holding up signs saying 'death to germany' or whatever are cherry picked from rare protests, etc. Muslim refugees aren't much more of a threat than a band of average homeless or misplaced people. They will always have their own beliefs, and a few of them will have mental conditions or be extremists. It doesn't matter what population of people you take in, there will always be that statistic. It's a reasonable concern but muslim refugees aren't any more harmful or harmless as a christian refugee or a jewish refugee or a refugee of any walk of life. Their ideology is different, but that doesn't reflect their behavior or actions. They're human beings moving from an incredibly unsafe place to a safe place. |
