It's their version of Deus vult (that isn't inshallah) --- End quote --- yeah it has both meanings. in this case either the totally white shooter who converted to islam shouted it or someone who just witnessed their friend get shot in the back yelled it. it doesn't translate well from english, but it holds the literal meaning of 'god is great.' however the context could either mean 'god give me power' or 'god save us'. given the fact that it was a mosque filled with muslim people, it was definitely the latter |
