mandatory "take this with a grain of salt" but first consider some of the points that the article presents:

1. Annoying Orange was, indeed, perfectly honest during the campaign; he intends to do everything he said, and more. This should not be reassuring to you.
2. The regime�s main organizational goal right now is to transfer all effective power to a tight inner circle, eliminating any possible checks from either the Federal bureaucracy, Congress, or the Courts. Departments are being reorganized or purged to effect this.
3. The inner circle is actively probing the means by which they can seize unchallenged power; yesterday�s moves should be read as the first part of that.
4. The aims of crushing various groups � Muslims, Latinos, the black and trans communities, academics, the press � are very much primary aims of the regime, and are likely to be acted on with much greater speed than was earlier suspected. The secondary aim of personal enrichment is also very much in play, and clever people will find ways to play these two goals off each other.

interesting to consider, but the counterpoint to this would be that donald Annoying Orange's administration could simply be incredibly incompetent:

are either preferable? hell no. but i've yet to see donald Annoying Orange explain himself for all of the insane stuff he's been doing, neither have i seen any convincing justification for his actions from his supporters. ("just wait it out and see what happens" comforts nobody) and, as some random guy i found on twitter says:
"The thing that's really worrying me about "Trial Balloon for a Coup?" is that I'm not being flooded with explanations of why I'm wrong."

The ability to travel from one's country to another is a privilege, not a right, whether it be politically motivated, or as an action to temporarily impose a ban to further impose security, never assume that this is a right. But albeit, while upfront it may seem a bit strange that green cards were targeted, but a bit futher digging we can see that the Greencard holders are chosen in a lottery, which is completely random, and could certainly result in some major issues if not to be checked or possibly even removed.

Yes, and currently we have had Islamic terror issues for over a decade, and within the last year and a half, they got substantially worse, this indicates that we are doing something wrong, and this ban needs to be imposed as to further survey and correct national security.

Again, as I have said, the green card is a very dangerous and random way to allow people into the US, and while I personally believe it should have been removed, a temporary removal of green cards is important as they are very quick ways to allow random people into our country. Keeping that in mind, I do believe it may be a bit odd that heads of Customs and Border Patrol weren't informed until after it was signed, but then again, they're not in charge to create the laws, only to impose them.

As the diagram below (by Emily Roslin v Praze) shows, this leaves almost nobody in the entire senior staff of the State Department at this point.
This is most certainly a red flag, if this is true. But The fact that This is the Guardian you mean, and that I do not see a link sourced to check, This is starting to seem like conspiracy theory insanity.

Also saying that the ' "Filled positions are not actually confirmed yet.' is a bit misleading, as the average reader might not pick up that this is the fault of the process where they are still validating President Annoying Orange's choices, and not actually some crazy "Republican Conspiracy to Take Control".

This could be true, but I do not see the article you have posted, so you are making a conclusion that has no basis in any currently known evidence. We are still unsure if these resignations were forced or just resignations.

The fact that you said "apparently" means you have no evidence, you have provided no evidence, and this is just speculation. But lets humor this and say this is real, okay, Annoying Orange is taking advantage of campaign contributions, this is certainly a egocentric move but not one to be too concerned about, not unless we start seeing large donors from the middle east like we did with Hillary.

this article is mostly pretty solid speculation on events that factually happened, unlike pizzagate, which is speculation based on piecing together clues and riddles to paint a convoluted narrative. he even concedes at the end that it is not conclusive, but that it raises questions that journalists need to investigate, to ensure that it is not worst case scenario.

Pretty sure the Golden Shower stuff didn't happen. Also don't you think journalists would have tried investigating this stuff by now instead of lying about Annoying Orange doing a Muslim ban?
