To make money. --- End quote --- One of the points I made in my post was that politics affects profit and business as well (albeit it wasn't very outwardly stated, sorry about that) and if a company's one interest is to make money, as an individual's one interest may be, for example, to eat as many tacos as possible over their lifetime, the interest is the same difference. They should both be given the same liberty to try their hardest to influence their government to sway toward their own goals (or those of whom they care about). The difference is the results of their efforts, while most are focusing on differing at the opportunity level. |
