Author Topic: [WIP RPG] Land Of The Wind | (What themes of Dungeons do you want? Page:7)  (Read 16493 times)

So, we're gonna have 3 or 4 themes for randomly generated dungeons.
Each themed dungeon will consist of: 3 entrances, 5 medium misc. rooms, 3 types of hallways, 2 types of intersections, and 2 boss rooms.

What theme do you want to see in the dungeons?
Examples: Jail house, sewer, castle, forest, haunted manor.

mineshaft
expansive cellar + small house on top?
castle would be cool, but would be mostly above ground?

Based on theme maybe an abandoned lab or factory.

Borrowing the code itself isn't a bad idea. But toward the rest of the discussion, sound a lot like "oh just use x tool and it should all go good."
well i originally designed the prop tool to be usable in minigames and point systems, which for them is probably all they need. unfortunately the code is spaghett and i dont have the time nor the current interest to fix it.

you'd best go off of what elm is doing and hook onto the new duplicator systems.

You best get a shovel because you 'gun be shoveling up buckets of cum if I look at that terrain any more.

come visit we have buckets for you

id like to see a dungeon thats kinda got that creepy vibe to it with a couple jump scares or something. maybe like a cult stronghold or something similar?

also, would be cool to see some dungeons with puzzles. not anything on the tomb raider level, but yknow how in skyrim you have to set three switches to a certain direction and then you can open a door? something like that. maybe you could have optional/hidden doors that would require more complex puzzles and contain some cool loot inside (nothing too good tho because players can always just share puzzle solutions)

I Don't see why we can't have complicated puzzles. I might try this out later as a scratch build with vce or something.

Gay strip club dungeon

Alien spaceship dungeon. Should be a empty dungeon featuring teleports, neon lights,(timed) simon says puzzles, basicaly a giant combination of minigames.

Bump we're still looking for ideas

A dark maze with plenty of space and were you need a torch to navigate (make the walls loving high), also add traps, clues, items

a maze is a cool idea. if you dont do a maze, something very psychological that throws people off their game. weapons/players/enemies behave erratically, making for a very unpredictable playthrough. doors that go nowhere/back to previous spots, players randomly getting seperated and having to find each other again, ammo being depleted randomly, invisible enemies, ect.
flying fortress?
volcano dungeon
giant tree dungeon
underground water/catacomb system. water-themed enemies, swimming, underwater puzzles and oxygen management
swamp dungeon
ice/huge iceberg dungeon
desert dungeon

A bigass tower that's a dungeon which contains smaller dungeons in it with even smaller dungeons in it is a cool idea
