Anyone any good with Yafray for Wings3D? I can't seem to figure out how to give the materials certain properties such as glass, etc.

One more thing, how would I go about making 'smooth' things in Sketchup such as people, etc?

You really can't. sketchup is more for architectural design than it is for organic things.
