Author Topic: Annoying Orange supporters are threatening to boycott Budweiser over their Super Bowl ad  (Read 9448 times)

Lol and people were blaming liberals for being whiny babies.
Rioting and causing chaos < Actual means of protest.

maybe it's because people are watching the Super Bowl to escape from the stress of the political atmosphere as sharp as a knife in this country and instead of relief you get bombarded with pro-immigration, pro-LGBTQWERTY, pro-BLM, pro-all this and that

"shut your loving faces, I just want to watch some football without you guys hanging over my head all the time"

and don't act like this wouldn't be top headlines of all the major publications if the commercial were the immigrant's family coming over and they were under tough times and the wife was pregnant but they couldn't support the baby so the seriously considered aborting it but instead they went the pro-life route and ugggggggggggggggggghhh *fart noises* you get the idea, it would be just as annoying and preachy as this stuff is
its a loving beer commercial lol

This, I really don't know why people are trying to compare this to the riots and other """"protests"""" that are going on. Boycotting for a good reason is a protest. Starting riots, vandalizing, assaulting people, burning stuff, etc over "muh opinions" isn't a protest.

This, I am right wing and I think this is just ridiculous, its a loving commercial who in their right mind gives a forget?

I did not say anything about rioting. All I said was forgetboys complaining about "muh beer" commercial. About as petty as the far left complaining about gender representation in games or some stuff. Get the forget over it. Kind of funny people are trying to justify their misplaced anger.

Buzzwaker?

I love how you think getting angry over a beer commercial promoting equality is 'valid' compared to getting angry over a law that barred people with visas from entering the US from certain countries. You know, something that completely screws up someone's life is less valid a reason to protest than "This is our german heritage as immigrants"

lol. the fact that you think one reason to protest is more 'valid' than another is already just sad.

It's just really spare that everyone(left and right) has to make everything from coffee cups, beer commercials to football games about politics.

Can you get me a source that doesn't force me to turn off ad blocker?

I love how you think get angry
Stating a fact + point is not me being angry. Sorry, try that on someone else. Lol

do you have dyslexia? at what point did i accuse you of being angry?

what is it with you completely misconstruing every point i make recently? go see a doctor, get some eye tests done, probably a brain scan. Half of what you say in response to me is fiction.

either way, boycotting is 100x better than vandalizing starbucks. I just think that the reason behind the two comparisons aren't comparable at all

Pretty sure the boycott was going on beforehand, if I remember correctly this commercial is a fraction of the stuff that Budweiser was doing

wow YOU are asking for sources?

only political thing ive seen budweiser do recently is rename its beer to "america" this summer, and making their cans have quotes about freedom and the constitution on them
but of course what would you know about freedom living in maple-land

My dad isn't boycotting Budweiser
