Saying, "We're gonna boycott X thing for X righteous reason" is some of the stupidest stuff. It just reeks of holier-than-thou attitude; more of a "how can we morally 1-Up everyone around me". Like if you want to boycott it, do so, but don't just say you will. Furthermore, don't "threaten" to do so. That's some of the least backed stuff. Just DO it. Also an edit. Seriously, I know full well that there are many people, probably around a half or a majority on the right who do not behave this way, but this is exactly why liberals will brand conservatives as hypocrites, because the same sphere of conservatives who blame liberals, specifically those who want political correctness, as being over-offended and over-sensitive are themselves a metaphorical tinderbox of triggers. If you want to read into anything you want and try to find a way to be offended over something, you will be. |
