An i3 even turbo'd isn't going to do a whole lot with the stuff coming out these days. My advice would be to check the pcmr subreddit and get one of the cheaper builds they have there.

No but for the price hes asking for, thr i3 6100 is a hell of a good CPU.yes it's not the highest performer but what do you expect? It's a good budget chip. Plus cheapest =/= better performing.

Quick question, if I'm using headphones is it worth it to buy a 7.1 sound card or are 7.1 sound cards for surround speakers? And if so should I get a 5.1 sound card then?
