Unless if you're an extremely picky audiophipe, or have expensive af headphones that take advantage of 5.1 and 5.1 or more speakers, you won't need a sound card at all. The default audio port is perfect. |

all motherboards have built in 5.1 and its kind of a waste to have 7.1 speaker setup on a computer unless its at a tv within an entire living room. there are only 4 existing 7.1 headphones anyway and not worth the price if you are having a budget computer. |
