yeah, probably one of my least favorite things to happen as well. sucks even more when the squad you build up is together and well for like two months into the school year then half of them decide to be stuffters and make the squad less fun for everyone - we have a theatre class at our school and it's ruined nearly every squad because they pretty much only talk among themselves

even though i never met you, welcome back, OP! have a good day/year/etc

I've learned that CS at college is kind of a joke
everything they're trying to teach I already know from scripting addons or from my own projects
CS is easier self-taught than from a classroom

--- Quote from: King of the Bill on February 06, 2017, 01:45:35 PM ---I've run into a lot of problems with my best friends just up and vanishing from my life. Seems to happen pretty often and generally due to outside circumstances, though of course I have no guarantee of that.

pretty sure that's normal
it's annoying, but friends are very temporary and unreliable

For the early level CS classes that's true but right now I've got "software engineering principles", "databases", and "net-centric computing" none of which I'm super familiar with, and yet even so they've managed to make it painful to touch.
