post typing speed

mine is 89 which is depressing because i am a programmer i should be typing at like 300 words per minute

Logic and thinking things through matters more in programming than typing speed though. I refuse to believe there's a programmer out there that actually writes out code as fast as they'd be copying a written text.

I wonder how the hell does this thing measure considering the words typed correctly are different than the WPM.
Shouldn't it just measure how many words (correct spacebars) you did in 1 minute, which is equal to the WPM?

My typing is actually incredibly fast when i'm not thinking about it, but tests like these make me to concious of it.
