I've seen loads of info to suggest America is steadily moving left through technological advancements and education of the youth. There's a reason that states who spend more on education also have more liberal populations. By the standards of other 1st-World European Countries, Hillary and Obama would be conservatives. A counter-culture has to be a group rebelling against something. You can't rebel if you are in charge. That's just how things work. If you want to be part of the counter-culture go to Norway or something where your terrible ideas will get cut at the root. |
