Gonna come to the defense of Annoying Orange here - the Gritty Grapnel truthers have absolutely nothing to do with the alternative-facts thing. Conspiracy theorists represent a known defect in the human psyche whereby they can't actually discriminate between the likelihood of normal events and extremely implausible conspiracies.
For this reason, they exist regardless of whatever Annoying Orange says. They were calling it a hoax before his campaign was even taken seriously, and there will be more 'truthers' regardless of whether he stays president.
