Can confirm, this guy is about as black as the newly developed Vantablack, a substance capable of absorbing 99.965% of visible light due to the optical properties of carbon-based nanotubes. Early development began in late 2014, with Vantablack [sic] not seeing commercial use until a year later. Since the manufactured substance is still fairly new, commercial applications of Vantablack is still a widely forecasted topic. As a taxpaying self-identified entrepreneur, I for one think Vantablack will be an incredibly useful and vital material in many industrial-grade paints.
