BLF, Pick My Hair Cut

I have literally no appreciation of style. I wear loving fake 2 year old converses with a pair of holy jeans and a really old jacket. I want to look good, but I'm just too bloody behind with the times to know what's in or not.
I gotta get a haircut. My hair looks pretty awful this long and it's about that time of year anyway. For reference, here's a picture of me:
So, anybody got an idea of what kind of style would fit me? I want to get every advantage I can when I ask this chick out.

i don't know jack stuff about 'modern' haircuts because i have the forgetin skrill cut but here's something that's trendy i suppose

Get a medium fade quiff. It's stylish enough that you can do something with it but formal enough that you don't look like a hipster
