Oh it was nothing specific that I said. Basically she thinks I'm "beyond help" and that the course "can't help me".
I believe she was referring to how I answer opinionated questions when called on. Sadly, class participation is a large portion of the class grade, so I'm obligated to say things.

Lets just say that getting up early to go to a class to have an older, religious, frumpy woman tell me how to be happy and how great it is once I agree with her doesn't make me a particularly happy camper.

I needed an elective this semester and it fit my schedule.
The aim of the course is to teach people how to become happy.
It's a bunch of feel good bullstuff.

nope that is exactly what I asked he word for word, since she answered at 8:45 this morning it was hard for me to quote her answer exactly. Like I said twice, I didn't mean to offend her, I should've said cloth, or scarf or anything but rag, I forgeted up, and she was angry, a little too angry for what I thought was a simple insignificant mistake. that is the reason I posted this thread, because people always give little crazy stories and talk about their screw ups in their personal life on this board.

also Id like to say I thought about how to phrase this, I thought that straight up asking her if she was a muslim instead of asking her about her cloth first would be just as offensive, especially if I turned out to be wrong and she wore it for some other reason I don't just let things fall out of my mouth without thinking, but I said the wrong word at the crucial moment
