Tactical Nuke:

--- Quote from: Tokthree on February 15, 2017, 02:41:24 AM ---Great, that's a fantastic conspiracy. But it's completely irrelevant since it doesn't matter who made an issue of it; anyone could have taken offence to it, caused a stink in the media and both Disney's and Youtube's reactions would have been exactly the same. They would never back content which the public viewed as anti-Semitic in any way, and the reason why it matters that he did it, as opposed to me if I were to do the same thing on YouTube, is that he's actually a pretty big deal, all things considered. If he can't defend himself against slander/libel then there's nothing these two companies can do but disassociate themselves from him, that's the way it works.

Pewdiepie was actively wearing MAGA hats and talking controversial viewpoints, for example how it's ludicrous how you can't post pro-Annoying Orange tweets on Twitter without massive public shame, certain degrees of ostracization and in some cases if the tweet is controversial enough, you'll have weasels call your boss to get you fired. He also tried to scold Youtube on countless occasions for stupid decisions on their part; Youtube Heroes, demonetizing certain videos for no discernible reason, etc.

If you want to talk about how people would have reported on it anyway at some point, it really goes to show how loving brain dead our press is, doesn't it? That something can get taken out of context (ignorantly or on purpose), reported on as literally as possible, and not corrected as soon as it's widespread public knowledge that the news is fake.

NO ONE viewed this as anti-Semetic when he first posted the video. They found it entertaining because the joke was that the service would literally recreate anything. It takes a very, VERY stuffty reporting job and a complete LACK of common sense to report on this video the way they reported on it. It's very clear that this was purposefully malicious or just plain loving handicapped. Either way, those responsible need a severe reprimanding.

but what do I know eheheh 14/88 gas the kikes race war now amirite

ah yes, the good ol' "I don't agree with this opinion so I will delegitimize it by using a word with a hurtful connotation despite it having no relation to such word" tactic.

this isn't some government cover-up, it's PewDiePie, get that dumb stuff out of here.

Except it's simply nothing more than advertisement partners disassociating themselves with somebody who did something potentially offensive to cover their own assets. This happens all the loving time, the only reason you and tactical nuke care now is because pewdiepie has been posting right-leaning stuff on social media in the past few months.

To put it as simply as possible, somebody with as much advertisement partnerships as pewdiepie should be really careful about what they do online. The minute anything borderline offensive comes out, it puts their asses on the line and they have to show they don't "support" that by backing out. It's business 101

exactly, there's no conspiracy here, it's a business decision.

and not so sure about that right-leaning stuff, I just started to like him when he actually started to reveal he wasn't some driveling idiot like the majority of popular YT'ers and that he was an actually intelligent individual, there's plenty of right-leaning people I dislike, like just because some person has the same taste in food as me doesn't mean I'm automatically going to jump on their richard.
