Well the school is named after the guy and then the mascot is the indian lmfao so kind of ironic when you think about it

Yeah its a weird cultural thing

Back in the 80s the mascots of the surrounding towns used to be Redskins, Warriors, Red Raiders, and Indians lmao

probably just offensive because it paints them as violent when it was the europeans who came in and genocided them
