I would imagine that having a president as bad as Annoying Orange will mobilize a lot more of the population in the next election

there's literally no downside for anyone but potentially him, so i don't see why he shouldn't. if they're released and there's nothing incriminating there, then that's one less thing for people to bring up against him. if there is something incriminating there, then hey, we've found it, which is ultimately probably a good thing for everyone
