[Debate] The Media Wars - PewDiePie the national socialist? or Mainstream Media the national socialist?

McZealot:
If I enter a setting of powerful people--let's say a random survey of people making more than 500k/year--the vast majority of them would know what WSJ is. Maybe a small percentage would know about PewDiePie.

Well, when you narrow your field of vision, of course what you see isn't a fair representation of what is there.

Half a Mil per year income seems like a strange sector to survey.

Why not survey the vast majority of people, that way you can get a fair represtentation?

This isnt going to end well

ok but why are you entering a setting of powerful people? no stuff most of them know what WSJ is. if you're picking from random people making that kind of salary with powerful influence, of course none of them will know pewdiepie exists. i imagine somebody of that stature wouldn't even know what most of youtube was. they're a small section of the overall majority. theres way more average people than this random survey of a specific minority you're proposing suggests

this blatant display of distrust is beyond most absurdities mainstream media likes to cause. to the general public, its clear this article meant nothing more than to cause harm, and all it did was backfire onto themselves. WSJ numbers are at an all time low, while all this article did was give pewdiepie more subscribers and more views. did you look at anything these videos went over? did you watch any of these videos at all?
Kochieboy:
PewDiePie was the one who submitted that message for them to read. I get that he didn't understand it would undermine the group, but still, that's a douchebaggy thing to do. Either way, the drama isn't nessicary, and people jumping on him for this bullstuff isn't either. So both parties just need to forget off.
