UC San Diego students protest visit of "oppressive", "offensive" Dalai Lama

Look at it this way: would it be a SJW protest if Ukranian students protested against having Putin speak at commencement?

I don't always agree with Seventh, but here I'll have to take his side.
Tensions are prominent between Tibet and China, these students are just reflecting that.

anyway, i can understand the sentiment that he's leading to a ton of people being submissive to the PRC and thus hurting the tibetan independence movement, which is bad,
but he's just a peaceful little guy leave him alone
