"Okay, here's $5 I guess" "Thanks bye" Only when they ran off did I realized I had accidentally bought a copy of Pajama Sam in a printed out paper case depicting the art from some random band called "Kayak" --- End quote --- lol you fell for that stupid CD scam. that's everywhere dude. usually 2-8 large black men will accost you into a corner and ask you what your name is. you tell it to them and they write it on the CD then demand payment. if you said 'I don't want to buy this' they will freak out and yell 'WE ALREADY WROTE YOUR NAME ON IT, YOU HAVE TO BUY IT WE CAN'T SELL IT NOW!'. it's an intimidation tactic and you should probably report that when you see it. usually the solution is to ignore them. if they physically grab you (which has happened to me) just say "I really need to get somewhere I don't have time" and force the CD back into their hand or drop it before trying to push through them as quickly as possible. they won't actually attack you cause then they'll 100% attract attention and probably get arrested. |
