maybe if you are some random nobody, who cares. but if you are someone that someone actually listens to, for whatever reason? you are telling a potential abuser that it could be good for the child. you are telling a victim that they should feel good about what happened to them, and that if they don't then something is wrong with them
--- Quote from: McZealot on February 21, 2017, 11:37:12 PM ---you jump on his story of personal victimization and bitch that he doesn't feel sorry enough for himself? What is this, Tumblr? Grow the hell up.

--- End quote ---
you are an idiot, Congratulations

yeah this is probably the biggest issue here. dialogue that says "child rape can be good!" is nothing but bad news for people who don't want to be victims of child rapists that might start to think, "hey, maybe this can be good!"

regardless of whether or not it can be good, popularizing the idea is absolutely awful

He's not telling anyone anything other than his experience. You're really telling me that this dude has no right to speak about his personal experience of getting raped? It's honestly disgusting that you call yourself a liberal while jumping on the bandwagon to accuse an innocent man of child enthusiasm because he had a unique opinion on a personal experience of victimization.

Yea, at least I'm not sitting here and ruining some rape victim's life because they had the gaul to admit it wasn't the worst thing to ever happen to anyone. Real noble dude. I hope you feel loving proud.

He didn't popularize the idea. He answered a direct question on a 4-hour podcast more than a year ago before he was anyone of note. These idiots in the media who ran a highly edited story about 'Milo supports rape!' so they can get a hot headline while ruining a man's life popularized the idea.

after 17 years on this earth I feel like you oughta know this, my bro, but someone's always gonna make something out of your words that you don't mean. case in point, rite?
there are ways he coulda shared it without leaving it wide open for child abusers to decide "oh stuff im a good person", and the two possibilities here are that he intentionally said it that way or he just wasn't thinking. so either he's scum or dangerously irresponsible. do i giv a fuk which? not particularly

actualy, i aint done stuff but post on a video game forum. it's funny. don't necessarily think he deserves all this for it, but I don't really care. hard to feel bad for the dude, all things considered

has he gone on record saying that he doesn't believe that any more? if he stands by his statement and defends it now after it's been dug up, then that's just the same. regardless, the point was that the idea itself is harmful
