Remember when a teacher goes into politics, it should only be appropriate and relate to the specific class at hand, and should be done in a non-biased way

this teacher goes against those by it being inappropriate, not relating to the class, and is clearly biased
rambo1220:
Zealot there's a difference between teaching political history and democracy in schools and force-feeding young students your personal political opinions, regardless of what you think this is wrong.

Did these things somehow impact my education? No, because assuming the teacher was actually teaching the subject, I wasn't a little bitch who had to run to the media because my personal views were being questioned.

so you're saying this teacher didnt do anything wrong but your christian teachers did? i myself live in a predominately christian community but none of my teachers swayed in 'god greatness' into a lesson. i dont condone it either. your teachers were wrong in doing it and so was this one.

Zealot only cares about issues when they don't share his opinions part 1367358438
McZealot:
I never said that this was an acceptable way to teach. I defended the teaching of political concepts against those who would prefer to harm our education system and said that any educator of children is going to in-part instill their values in that child. Assuming their personal beliefs don't interfere with the education and rather just look unprofessional (as occurred here) I think it is ridiculous to demand action against these teachers because we'd have to lynch every Southern Christian English teacher in the US.

Yea, that's why I defended Milo Yiannopoulos, the Editor of Breitbart from spurious claims that he was a child enthusiast advocate. When was the last time you defended a liberal politician?

That's not at all what I said and I'm not even remotely sure how you came to that idea--since it's literally the polar opposite of the entire post's point. I said that all teachers have viewpoints that will come out in lessons and that is a fact of life. Assuming they are doing their job of also teaching the subject I believe that hearing opposing viewpoints is an unavoidable part of life.
