How about we make the government smaller and stop saying it should do everything

rip rec drug thread

Just a reminder that this man has lost more money than he has gained.

How about we make the government smaller and stop saying it should do everything

you know 'we'd' is short for 'we would'

as in, we would do that if it happened. which it hasn't
Yes it have gone to war and operations https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yugoslav_Wars, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_in_Afghanistan_(2001%E2%80%932014), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_military_intervention_in_Libya, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Ocean_Shield.

the us isn't even spending that much on NATO or the UN. we pay less than 10 billion of the 600 billion military budget on UN and NATO

Yeah we pay more than 10 billion USD in Europe

Daddy: "Only $711? we need to increase it to at least $54 Billion"

Guy: "Sir that says $711 billion?"

Daddy: "Wrong, theres not enough zeros."

folks keep in mind that education spending is still 6%, while the military spending is still 54%

the government spends nearly 10x as much money defending the country during peacetime than it does educating the future generations of students
Fix the college spending on professors salary more. Other than add more funding to aid students that causes the increase cost of tuition.

Hey do you understand what I'm saying?
I'm talking how professors and other leaders of universities have very high salaries that cost students a lot of money.

Hey do you understand what I'm saying?
actually, no. it really sounds like you're suggesting spending more on professor salaries and less on financial aid

iirc part of the rising cost of tuition is because states are giving universities less money

Okay, now you are just trolling.

Fixing salaries will help them overall so less funding is needed.

I thought the Republican argument was that the US was doing too much for these countries and needed to stop? Now Republicans want us to protect more countries?

I'm not saying it's a good thing I'm saying that's what it is

To say 'the US defends these countries' is laughable and stupid--like you.

When you stop being smug every other post I'll take this seriously
