Well we do spend a lot of money on maintaining all them high tech ships and oversea bases. Other than the stuffty F-35 with no good use of it in the Air Force but showing off we can do STOVL and be like a Sea Harrier. We just spend on logsitic than more killing mechanical things.
Kringleberg:
imagine if all that money went towards something more useful, like making sure the schoolchildren know the word of our lord and savory jesus christ

unless youre going to a technical college or something similar that only has 2 year programs, this is a horrible argument. community colleges are absolute jokes compared to most universities/private colleges. you might as well just not go to college full time then and take online classes for the rest of your life

As in what why they are jokes? A lot of universities accept transfers. Plus Obama's plan was allow public community college free but never pass as it would cost too much to maintain.
Also have are you in university because I'm taking my Associate's Degree in a community college and I can transfer any public universities within the state.

I rather fix spending on university than just give more money. If we give more money it would make more students want to join and make applying harder and cost more as more people want to get in. I believe that just giving students to get higher education with useless degrees will just add a bigger bubble of education.
