| Apparently I'm homophobic |

Today I got into a altercation with a stupid bigot in public. What I said was in no way discriminating against any gay people. So today in class, I was in a group for one of my media classes and there are 4 people in my group. I'm not gonna say their names so I'll refer them to W, X, Y and Z (because I've been maths all week) and another person, V, the person who is one of the reasons why the altercation happened. So V comes up to me with a LGBT badge and says to me "Do you support it" and I said "because of my beliefs, I do not support it (not implying it should be illegal) and nor do I care about it" then W, who is an African Christan, says it is 100% wrong and that he does not like it. So W brings up the idea of two men kissing, I say that I don't want to see it in front of me because of my opinion and beliefs. He too agrees with me and doesn't want to see it in front of him because of his beliefs So then X, says that she does not agree with it either and that if she saw it in front of her it is wrong. She is probably religious too. Then Z comes back to our group after talking to one of her friends. Z then heard what we were talking about and the says "Two men kissing is love" and so does X, now changing her opinion for no reason. W says "no it is not love" so Z then says "It is" and I also say "It isn't" she says to me "it is love" and I then say to her "It isn't, it's quiet disturbing" so her being one of those SJW femiazis from Tumblr and Reddit, shouts out loud "Don't you ever loving talk to me again you loving prick" and it was loud, the whole class could hear. Now I do have a short fuse/temper but for something like this I simply looked at her like if she was out of her mind and ignored her. Her friends looked at me and then went up to her to ask her what happened and if she was okay. Z then begins crying. So because I said that two men kissing is disturbing, apparently I'm homophobic and comitting a war crime. That is loving stupid, I am not homophobic, I did not say "Kill all gay people" did I? and keep in mind the school I go to is full of Muslim people who have said worse than me. Can someone here tell me if I'm homophobic or not? also I have to work with this girl for the rest of the school year. /help |
