UPDATE 2:
Ran the first two missions. XCOM is super weak ATM so I went full stealth--no combat at all.
Badspot and Ephialtes hacked an ADVENT data-cache and were both promoted.
Decepticon and DestroyerOfBlocks rescued 3 XCOM Operatives from an ADVENT Prison and were both promoted.
DreamsOfCheese and GabeNuwell rescued a VIP Engineer from ADVENT-occupied Cairo and were both promoted.
