how do we know the flag was stolen? I'll admit I'm a little late to the discussion, but have we even entertained the idea that they just lowered the flag and rose their own without damaging the flag or removing it from the area?

why would 4chan, after trolling the stuff out of the original installation, suddenly resort to breaking the law when trolling has been proven super-effective?
to suggest that this is anything more than more trolling seems extreme to me
