This is a definite possibility. Either Self Delete by cop or just dumb.

It's common sense and everybody knows that in dealing with a law enforcement officer, you have to do exactly as they say because there is an established protocol. Go watch some police body cam videos if you don't believe me when I say that these situations can go bad in literally the blink of an eye because that's all it takes for some goon to draw a gun and start spraying.

Huh. Guess they're actually getting smart about it. To be fair though, that stuff is incredibly expensive(looking at the Interceptor, it's rated level 3/4 protection which is fairly impressive), so I wouldn't count on that being standard.
