He then told me how sorry he was and that he won't do it again. I didn't even shout at him or anything I just simply said to him "I'm Jewish" very polietly, I didn't start beating him at all. I don't know what it is but if I don't know someone and they don't know me, and they say something like that I won't do anything to them |

I don't know what it is but if I don't know someone and they don't know me, and they say something like that I won't do anything to them --- End quote --- the ones who react violently are the vocal minority, and always drown out the majority. the best way to deal with hate is to show love and handle it in a calm and peaceful manner, rather than yell back. however you react to it, it will still probably offend you but the way you convey your offense to someone else is what changes the situation. overall you probably did the right thing and he reacted the right way by saying sorry, but there are some people out there that are at their wits' end and can't stay calm in those situations. |
