yo i don't get why people say stuff like "i'm not paying for someone else's life" and then talk about charity; i get that you don't want to be forced to pay for it but you can't honestly think that enough money is going to come out of the goodness of people's hearts when you have so many people saying stuff like this

You seem to fail to understand the point of healthcare. Of course the vast majority doesn't need health utilities and services. You're basically stating the sky is blue. Availability of healthcare keeps the vast majority healthier through maintenance and improvement, if you think this sorta thing can survive without a heft federal budget, you might have a bad surprise later.

Even if every billionaire CEO donated a huge sum of money it wouldn't be enough to cover the cost. The only way the cost can be achieved is by taxing 300 million americans a small amount each month

300 million times 10
Would be 3 billion a month.
Do we need even 3 billion for a national health care plan?
Why can't there be regulations imposed on health care plans instead?

i'm down for making sure companies aren't overcharging people just because they know they need it too

Then impose a health tax that goes toward health care at every fast food place and on all soda, im sure that will end well.
