Do you know how much cancer treatment, surgery, emergency care and other medical services cost? Even with more than 1 trillion dollars the ACA can only manage to cover up to 50% of the medical cost for this stuff.

Charity would probably cover the cost for 100 people.

australia has a 2% levy on taxable income for medicare and ours is doing great, whats the issue with paying tax towards healthcare
