that doesn't answer my question. healthcare isn't a luxury, it's a necessity to survival. if you have treatable cancer but can't afford to fix it, and would otherwise die, what are you supposed to do?

jesus christ you're for real. for the same reason it would be loving annoying if I start ranting about veganism in a random thread it's also a bit weird when poliwhirl complains about tony in a thread he hasn't even touched. I really don't understand how this is so hard to grasp

--- End quote ---
Where is your proof that this country 'worked perfectly fine' before the ACA? Do you have statistics and records that show that poor families suffered less back then?

Just because you, your family and neighborhood and friends functioned perfectly fine before 2011 doesn't mean other people did. It's this kind of really misguided anecdote i see you using on the regular, and it doesn't really justify/prove/validate anything.

So loving what if it isn't a right? it's a government institution that helps millions of people essentially survive. If your philosophy is remove anything that isn't a right, this country would be a stuffhole

Freedom from slavery wasn't a right until Abraham Lincoln came through. You could've used the same argument of 'it's not a right' back then to justify enslaving human beings for your own benefit.

Do you miss everyones points? You seem to be under the impression that I'm arguing against it being off topic- I'm not, you just should have said that it's off topic instead of making it look like you didn't know what he was talking about. Then we wouldn't be having this discussion.
