| [NEWS] Republican Obamacare replacement to leave 52 million uninsured |

Corderlain is absolutely resistant to paying even a cent a month for something he doesn't use, even if it means that 52 million people will be saved by health care. That's literally the definition of selfishness. You wouldn't even give up the smallest thing just so millions of less fortunate people can live |

--- Quote from: SeventhSandwich on March 14, 2017, 05:07:11 PM ---A 'right' is literally just whatever people agree is a 'right'. In the DPRK, free speech isn't a right, but it's a right here because we think it makes our society better. Whether we should consider healthcare as a right is a more complicated conversation than, "Durr, it's not in the constitution!" --- End quote --- Yes, but there is no good reason to tax everyone for health care If the tax is gonna hurt the people who need it too. Usually the people who need things like Obamacare need all the money they can get. |

There's no possible way to run a country-wide health care plan without taxing people, just as there's no way to run a military operation in iraq without taxing people. |

I've never actually experienced this issue, because asthma medication is covered fully by my plan. After ACA, my hospital bill for asthma attacks went from $2,000 to $500. Maybe it's the medication itself or a blowback of some sort, but that sounds like a discrepancy. Honestly, ACA could use some ironing out to fix the exact issues that you express, but removing it completely will not only forget you over but will forget me & 30 million people over too |
