What a stuffty world. This guy made a hugely successful cartoon that brought joy to millions of kids, and the universe rewarded him by dooming him to a slow, agonizing death. Hawking is rare because he got ALS at a really young age, and it's some sort of genetic-variant-type that doesn't progress nearly as fast.
