Spongebob creator Stephen Hillenburg diagnosed with ALS
Nix the Glaceon:
he's gonna turn into Stephen hawking
SeventhSandwich:
What a stuffty world. This guy made a hugely successful cartoon that brought joy to millions of kids, and the universe rewarded him by dooming him to a slow, agonizing death.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-Un literally eats pounds of cheese every day and hasn't had a coronary yet.

Probably bleaker than that, honestly. Hawking is rare because he got ALS at a really young age, and it's some sort of genetic-variant-type that doesn't progress nearly as fast. Something like 80% of ALS patients die in five years.

It's widely regarded that Spongebob went downhill after the first movie aired, which is coincidentally the same time Hillenburg stopped producing for the show.
King Tøny:
Even the art in the show changed. Nothing looked the same.
