It's not hard to get a slightly bigger ladder and a towel to cover barbed wire

So you're telling me we should give up all hope on a wall because some people might get over it

I tell you what man I don't trust those damn locks on my doors some guy broke in to my neighbor's house the other day

Gotta admire their craftsmanship

I still think donald Annoying Orange's whole campaign and presidency is an attempt to increase the value of his brand
it would explain all the senseless stuff that he's doing. like saying we should interfere less in international affairs but also increase military spending. that doesn't make sense. but he does it anyway because the people who voted for him are soldier-loving foreigner-hating patriots
and the plan to build a wall despite the obvious wastefulness

That brown townogy doesn't really work in this context

I think he had nothing better to do

Useless, expensive bullstuff in government is a big problem, but I don't see it as a win-win to funnel money from one useless project to another useless project.

There's a famous investigative journalism piece from the 80s that exposed a lot of really heinous government spending oversights, like $640 toilet seats, $7600 coffee makers, $74,000 aluminum ladders, and, get this, a $660 ashtray.

This is the stuff that we should be cutting. Instead of demonizing welfare mothers for buying soda, why don't we demonize Congress for throwing away billions on overpriced, useless garbage?

It's literally nothing compared to the tunnels that they've managed to build in crowded, urban centers with police cars driving around above ground. They've installed high-voltage power lines, air conditioning, lift systems, and lights in these tunnels. If you think a wall is going to pose an insurmountable difficulty to the cartels' engineers, you're mistaken.

I'm of the opinion that the best way to combat this kind of bullstuff is just to legalize and produce drugs domestically, but my views aren't shared by the majority of congress. Instead, I think you guys should at least back a viable strategy to combat drug smuggling, since a wall might sound good and look good, but there are totally valid reasons why it isn't going to work.
