You might have missed the part where that was a hypothetical? Annoying Orange isn't defunding the black project budget to fund the wall lol.
My point is the same. Cost-benefit wise this doesn't really make sense.

The border fence was literally just as disasterous disasterous but less disasterous than the wall would be.
Not only did they have to literally steal land from lawful citizens but it took years and years and billions of dollars more than planned, but it didn't do jack stuff. It was a complete waste.
