After living in a motel room for a few months now, and tireless searching, my family have found a nice home in Grand Rapids to live in. It's kind of small, but it's something much better. Now my sister, father, mother and I won't all be on top of each other. Having neighbors is going to be a new experience, for sure!
We also found some vintage items (two lighters, a suspender snap, and an old lock) in the basement (which looks like the scene of a horror film!)

grand rapids is a nice city. id suggest checking out "mikes wings" if you ever get the chance. bomb ass wing shop with a lot of options

We're not there just yet (we don't have all of our stuff out) but it felt very good just to be in a place where you could walk around and be by yourself for a moment.
