Yooka-Laylee is a revival of the 3D platforming genre by ex-employees of Rare. The Kickstarter was created on the 1st May 2015 and £2.1m ($2.6m) was raised. A steam page has been launched and the game will unlock on the 11th April 2017. The game will be £34.99 ($39.99) for non-Kickstarter backers, there will also be a deluxe edition which is currently £42.99 ($49.99?). It is not clear what it will add at the moment.

Closest thing I can think of is ratchet and clank but that doesn't have a super big focus on platforming.
