the next step will be virtual reality, where humans will find a more favorable alternative to real life. instead of focusing on our survival, we'll whither away, fail to maintain our bodies, become overweight and wither into a state of vegetation. we need to put it on ourselves to exact self control, avoid relying on the machine for personal happiness. if we rely on the technology, then it'll have leverage over us. we'll become its slaves. hold on to your humanity before the machines take it from you! |
